Ruud Baltissen en Gideon Zweijtzer hebben de op 32-bit
gebaseerde zelf ontwikkelde opvolger van de Commodore 64 processor voor het eerst getest. Deze
zogenaamde 65GZ032 processor is ingebouwd in een orginele Commodore 64 (zie foto).
Helaas crasht de test op het spel Boulderdash en Ruud en Gideon hadden toen iets van "dat zal wel
ergens anders aan liggen". Maar nu bestaat toch het vermoeden dat er een illegale instructie of
bug in de core zit, dus is er voorlopig nog wel wat werk aan de winkel! We houden U allen op de
hoogte.
Ruud Baltissen and Gideon Zweijtzer are testing the selfbuild 32-bit C64 processor. This so called 65GZ032 processor is build in an original Commodore 64 (see the picture above). Unfortunaly the test crashed when they started the Boulderdash game. They think now there's an illigal instruction or core-bug in the processor but they will keep on goin' to solve the problem.
